Description
Native people used more than 1000 plant species.
Labrador Tea (Ledum groelandicum) is one of them, (and despite its name, we harvest it in the Gaspé Peninsula !)
This medium-sized shrub (30 to 120 cm) is found mainly in a boreal or arctic climate.
Only the last leaves are harvested by hand.
The infusion of a few leaves develops a mix of various aromas such as resin, mint, tarragon and grapefruit.
You can reuse the leaves a second time!
You can also prepare a marinade made with Labrador tea and soak your game meat in it…
